DirtGlue signs exclusive distribution for its DustLess product with Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College, PA.
Glenn O. Hawbaker is a heavy construction and materials company whose operating territory spans Pennsylvania. GOH has been extensively involved in mining aggregates for several decades. The DustLess product has proven effective and cost efficient for controlling dust in its mining operations. More recently the DustLess product has shown good results in application on forest roads and other rural applications in the regions of PA actively being developed in pursuit of the Marcellus Gas hidden deep in the shale deposits of Pennsylvania in which Hawbaker is also deeply involved. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is very concerned about the creation of fugitive dust resulting from significant truck traffic involved in the development of Marcellus gas operations. DustLess is proving cost effective due to its long life eliminating the need for frequently repeated applications by water trucks. Because of its organic content it also proves to be a superior product to calcium because it does not wash away like calcium and does not pollute or kill vegetation.
